During the night between Friday and Saturday, in the early morning hours of 10 June 2017, the Lord called back to Him a great man, Father Peter Hocken.
He died at the age of almost 85. He was a servant of God, a friend, a priest who loyally served the Body of Christ until his last breath, all the world round. The Lord gave him an extraordinary intellect and wisdom, together with the experience of baptism in the Holy Spirit. He also received from God the talent and ability to provide specific and comprehensible theological explanations and descriptions of spiritual experiences that are taking place within the Church, notably after the Second Vatican Council. - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Mama inak obdarovanej dcéry
Lebo tvoje bremeno je ľahké, Pane
Mám 47 rokov a v hnutí Viera a Svetlo som od roku 1999 od návštevy Jeana Vaniera v Nitre. Bola som tam vtedy iba ako vonkajší pozorovateľ.
Videla som krásne vzťahy veľkého množstva ľudí, ktorí sa navzájom poznali a tak trochu som im aj závidela. Videla som úžasnú radosť v očiach ,,inak obdarovaných”, ich bezprostrednosť. Musím povedať, že s postihnutými deťmi som sa takto nikdy nestretla.
Najviac ma oslovil Igorko, ktorý pobehoval okolo sviec a vykrikoval: ,,Svetlo!". Napodiv sa nad tým nikto nepohoršoval, ba dokonca ani na omši. Všetci sa iba usmievali. Druhý človiečik, ktorý si ma získal, bola Katka, ktorej som nejako padla do oka. Vždy keď ma stretla, prečítala si meno z mojej menovky, povedala: ,,Á, Tááánička!" a tuho ma vystískala. To sa zopakovalo aj niekoľkokrát za deň. Bola som z toho dosť prekvapená, pretože sme sa nepoznali a môžem povedať, že po príchode domov mi to aj chýbalo. No a, samozrejme, prednášky a samotná prítomnosť Jeana Vaniera sa veľmi dotkli môjho srdca. Po návrate domov som začala chodiť do trnavského spoločenstva.
Medzi týchto ľudí som prišla zranená, pretože šesť rokov predtým mi v priebehu jeden a pol roka ochrnula dcérka Zuzka, zomrel manžel aj otec. Skrátka Boh dopustil, aby sa mi zrúcali všetky istoty, na ktorých som stavala, a bolo treba začať odznova. Keď som prišla do spoločenstva a rozprávala som sa s matkami ,,inak obdarovaných”, zistila som, že rozprávame o tom istom - iba v inej farbe. O našich krížoch, o tom, ako sme sa proti nim búrili a ako sme sa s nimi učili žiť. ,,Lebo tvoje bremeno je ľahké, Pane.”
Po určitom čase som zistila, že zranenia, ktoré boli v mojom vnútri, už nebolia, že môžem rozprávať o boľavých veciach bez toho, aby som sa rozplakala. V hnutí som spoznala množstvo krásnych ľudí s úžasným srdcom, cez ktoré preteká Božia láska a učí ma milovať ako on, učí ma pozerať sa na svet jeho očami.
Inak obdarovaní mi ukazujú, čo je v živote dôležité, cez ich ústa sa mi prihovára Pán - a veľakrát tak trefne! Veď Boh si vybral slabých, aby zahanbil múdrych a ja sa mám v tejto Ježišovej škole ešte veľa čo učiť...
