Good news
- Raniero Cantalamessa
he Baptism in the Spirit's effectiveness in reactivating baptism consists in this: finally man contributes his part -- namely, he makes a choice of faith, prepared in repentance, that allows the that allows the work of God to set itself free and to emanate all its strength. It is as if the plug is pulled and the light is switched on. The gift of God is finally "untied" and the Spirit is allowed to flow like a ftragrance in the Christian life. - Peter Hocken
During the night between Friday and Saturday, in the early morning hours of 10 June 2017, the Lord called back to Him a great man, Father Peter Hocken. He died at the age of almost 85. He was a servant of God, a friend, a priest who loyally served the Body of Christ until his last breath, all the world round. The Lord gave him an extraordinary intellect and wisdom, together with the experience of baptism in the Holy Spirit. He also received from God the talent and ability to provide specific and comprehensible theological explanations and descriptions of spiritual experiences that are taking place within the Church, notably after the Second Vatican Council. - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
"I have a dream," he began, "that one day on the red hills of Georgia, sons of former slaves and sons of former slave-owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood. "I have a dream my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." - Peter Dufka SJ
We all know, based on our personal experience, that the cooperation with most intelligent people is not often easy. These people usually do not establish friendship easily. It is interesting also that university graduates with an honour degree usually do not fit in to the working environment in the best way and that their high intellect is of a little help in overcoming personal or marriage crises. - Marek Nikolov
The aim of the “Jesus Heals” prayer gatherings is experiencing the fact that God is Love. He is Love that wants to give itself to other people. God wants to show us His mercy even through healing, signs, wonders, and miracles.

Story - Michael Glatze
Michael Glatze was co-founder of Young Gay America and a former advocate for gay rights. Glatze received media coverage for publicly announcing he no longer identified as a homosexual, and denouncing homosexuality. Contact and Favorite website: michaelglatze.blogspot.com

Michael you used to be one of the leaders of the homosexual movement in America. In your story you state, that the homosexual movement supports the sin and corruption. Could you, please, describe this corruption background of the homosexual movement in detail?
Yes, sure. Homosexuality is a sin against God. There are many sins against God. Sin means "missing the mark," or not conforming to the holy nature of God. When you realize that this is what sin means, you realize that every single one of us has sinned, and continues to sin!! We have all missed the mark! (This is because we inherit a sin nature that makes us desire to do that which is wrong, or forbidden.) Thankfully, Christ died for all our sins - past, present, and future - so that those who believe in Him are given a clean slate, and eternal life in the presence of the holy God. We get Christ's righteousness, not our own (for, no matter how hard we try, we don't have any righteousness of our own!)
That said, homosexuality is one of many sins discussed in God's revelation to mankind - the holy Bible - which also include lying, adultery, etc. But, there is no lying that is good in God's eyes; all lying is a sin. Similarly, all homosexuality is a sin against God. Why is it a sin? Because, it is a perversion of the human body, which was made for a specific purpose.
Some people suggest that the Bible is, somehow, "out-of-date;" but those people miss one of the great characteristics of God, which is that He is unchanging - which is how and why we can trust His Goodness and Perfection! So, no, the Bible isn't "old news," or something like that, as some people - who would really just prefer to be getting away with sin, without a guilty conscience getting in the way - attest.
Again, there is no homosexuality that is somehow "OK" in God's eyes; thus, any movement promoting homosexuality is a movement of sin and corruption of natural human sexuality, and should be discouraged. Additionally, Christians and other people of conscience need to reach out those who have been caught up in the sinful lifestyle of homosexuality, reaching out in compassion (mercy) and love, helping them heal from the harmful habits of homosexuality, offering them a better way - a WHOLENESS that can not be experienced while practicing homosexuality.
Romans 1:27 describes men who engage in homosexuality, saying they "receive in themselves the recompense of their error;" and, for anyone who engages in such an obvious sin against God, that individual will feel what is called spiritual death - separation from the love, and goodness of God. They may try to re-make God in their own image, to fit their sin (as many "liberal Christians" attempt to do, and I attempted to do for a year or so, when I imagined that I could be a "gay Christian.") But, ultimately, the truth will prevail, and the person truly hungry for right fellowship with the One, True God will renounce their sins and embark on the healing process. I pray for these folks.
What is the final purpose of the homosexual movement? Will be the movement satisfied with the recovery of the law for an adoption of children and with equality with the marriage to that of woman and man?
No, it will not be "satisfied" with anything, because the very presence of heterosexuals feels like oppression to those trapped in homosexuality - who know, in their guts, that they could be normal but are choosing - instead - to live within a lie.
Homosexuality and heterosexuality cannot co-exist, because one is a distortion of the other, and will always continue to try to overcome the other. That is why homosexuality is so dangerous to human life - and, why it is such a grievous sin in God's eyes. If you look through history, all the times when mankind fully turned from God to "their own ways," they became more and more sexually-degraded, more and more focused on fulfilling their own carnal lusts. Homosexuality always appeared at these times... and, worse sins. Anyone who has the faintest understanding of human nature knows that homosexuality is just one component of total sexual depravity, which - if we bend to somehow grant homosexuality "sanctified status" - will just get crazier, and crazier, as people turn to more and more transgressive behaviours to fulfil their perverted lusts.
We must recognize that the individual who is under the power of their own lusts and perversions has made a conscious choice, but may also be in a situation where he or she might not know a better way. That is why, as Christians, it is so important to love with Christ's love all those who have been used, led astray, or deceived, reaching them with the true gospel of Grace - which is the only 100% successful way to give people new life and deliverance from even the most heinous sins!
On what base lies the success of the enforcement of homoagenda in such a widespread international measure? What kind of the most effective instruments are used for spreading values of homoagenda?
There is a vast network of organizations in politics, media, etc. promoting the homosexual agenda. "Gay" rights advocates successfully patched together their cause with the larger civil rights cause, allowing many people now to just assume that any "anti-gay" thoughts are the same as anti-black racism. This, of course, is not true. Nobody ever started off as black and then became white, unless an extreme case. But, human diversity is totally different than sexuality.
The problem is, the politicians, activists, and media are very good at creating emotional arguments that trap people in a feeling of guilt if they have any negative or critical thoughts against homosexuality. Good-hearted people feel guilty, then shamed, then start not saying anything, then start compromising. The more something that is evil can be made to appear good, the more people will just allow that evil to exist.... that is what is happening with homosexuality. We become more and more desensitized, to the point where those who stand for the truth appear more and more "extremist," or, somehow, "radical!" But, the only "radical" thing is that so many people are turning to homosexuality to satisfy their lusts, because the alternative - standing for true masculinity in an increasingly emasculated culture - is challenging.
I think the pursuit of true masculinity - which can only be found in Christ - should be a major goal of every Christian in this world, to the point where we can begin to turn things back in the right direction. The problem is, many Christians don't read their Bibles, don't spend time with God, and so become more and more fleshly in their decision-making (rather than relying on the power - and, liberty - of the Holy Spirit). Thus, more and more Christians compromise and completely sell out truth, in exchange for the world's acceptance. We are asked by God to not live for others, but for Him; how many Christians actually do that? Christians, who HAVE the truth, are the ones tasked with the responsibility of actually putting a stop to the progression of sin and decay - through the power of the Holy Spirit. We can reach out to those in confusion, and teach them the truth... the liberating truth! But, many Christians are so out of it, they don't recognize the freedom they have in Christ, the gospel of Grace that truly separates us from all expectation and legalism. So, they promote bad ideas, when they should be fighting for what's right.
CHRISTIANS SHOULD NEVER LET NON-CHRISTIANS SHAME THEM INTO COMPROMISING GOD'S TRUTH. INSTEAD, THEY SHOULD BE READY TO DIE FOR THE TRUTH, IF IT WERE TO COME TO THAT.
A lot of Christians are able to believe, that God can free a man from alcohol, drugs, or heal him miraculously. However the idea, that God may heal a man from homosexuality is unbelievable for many people, because they believe, that a man is born as homosexual. You are the proof. Proof, that God heal you from homosexual mentality. What would be your message to those, who doubt the possibility, that God may heal a man from homosexual mentality?
People don't really doubt that with full integrity. They are, instead, buying in to the world's idea - first - that homosexuality is OK, then using that presupposition to say "I just can't believe" a man could go from "gay" to straight. But, the evidence is obvious. I am just one of millions who has stopped being homosexual, and become heterosexual.
The sick irony is that many people have absolutely no problems when someone goes from "straight" to "gay," suggesting that the person had a latent homosexuality that was just waiting to "come out!" But, what about the possibility that nobody has a latent sexuality that is anything other than the freedom to choose? Homosexuality is a choice, not a born identity. It may develop - those same-sex desires - in people for various reasons, but rather than focus on the reasons for same-sex desire, it's far more important to focus on the reality of choosing homosexuality, and the ramifications for society as well as the individual soul's relationship with God.
Those who claim they can't imagine a person leaving homosexuality are trapped in a mindset that - at its root - doubts Christ's ability to overcome. A person trapped in another sinful addiction will never be told, by any good-hearted person, that he can't possibly quit, so he should never try! But, seemingly "virtuous" people actually SAY that to friends and family members, with regards to homosexuality!? People who take the side of evil will INEVITABLY take the side AGAINST that which is good. This is a major sin; and, honestly, anyone who doubts the truth needs to seriously spend some time in prayer with God, before opening their mouths again and pushing people much further into bondage. Christ is liberty; it is up to Christians to get all of our arrogant assumptions and misconceptions out of the way, and let Christ free the trapped souls.
I don't have much patience for Christians who pretend they are "concerned" about this issue, but doubt God's truth - acting as though they, somehow, are more intelligent than God. Those people have issues.
Alcoholics or drug addicted people, after overcoming of the addiction, they abstain for the rest of their lives and therefore they have to face this temptation. Is it not the same way with people who decided to turn his back from homosexuality?
Sometimes. And, I cannot speak for every person who has attempted to recover from homosexuality. As with any difficult life-choice, or habit, there is the potential for slipping back. There is the potential for ongoing struggles with temptation. But, as with anything else, there is also great potential for success. The many married couples I speak to, many of whom send me photographs of their beautiful children, who left homosexuality behind long ago, are a testimony to that truth.
Lot of people with homosexual mentality long for recovery, they honestly search, they pray, they try to refuse their homosexual desires inside them, but they again and again fall into the sinful intercourse. Do you have the answer to this secret, that someone is cured quite quickly and the other to be saint in front of God, has to fight his temptation all his life and carry that kind of cross?
People spend too much time doubting the power of Christ, and living - instead - an entirely grace-less, self-indulgent life. The truth of the gospel is that Christ's life actually comes to life within your body, and you are no longer alive - you have been made dead in Him. So, there is nothing to complain about, if the God who created the universe and loved us enough to send His Son to become sin on our behalf, dwells in our very body!
Sure, life has its challenges; but, there is not a man or woman on earth who does not have challenges in life! People need to rise up out of their victim-mentality, their supreme self-indulgence, and let Christ have the pre-eminence in their lives. Only then will they be filled with the "fullness of joy" of glorifying God with every "word and deed," and they will love their lives in Christ so much, no matter where He takes them.
So, I reject the victimhood approach. If I were to say that a person who struggles with homosexual temptations were any different than a person who struggles with other temptations, I would be only observing one - selected - portion of reality, rather than the whole thing. And, in that unity of mankind, Christ understands what we're all going through, because he was in all ways tempted just as we are, but without sin. Thus, he can succor those of us that suffer - WHICH IS ALL OF US! It's about how you view your walk through life. If it's all about you, you, you, you're probably going to whine and complain a lot - ultimately, directly rebelling against God, doubting His Goodness, and suggesting He isn't powerful enough for you! But, if you submit - recognize, as a Christian you're dead in Christ... essentially "get over yourself," - you will find the true liberty in the grace of God, which will take you through some remarkable places, including deliverance from sins and a far better life lived for the true glory of the living God. But, don't take my word for it - or, you're bound to just think I'm an opinionated man with no compassion. Study the Bible. Get to know God yourself. It's your choice.
Many people fail because a part of them would rather wallow in despair than accept the fullness of God's grace. It is a subtle form of pride; no surprise full healing can't happen amidst that kind of a spiritual condition!!!
How would you, in the end, encourage people in Slovakia and in the world, who long for the recovery from homosexual mentality?
I would encourage people in Slovakia with the truth of the person and work of Jesus Christ. Do you know Him? Do you REALLY know Him? Do you know what He did for you!? I have so many Christian friends who have struggled with a variety of sins, and temptations, who have been largely delivered from those - and, we are all part of that beautiful, broken, family of sinners who have been made Children of God!
I pray for unity in the world-wide church, and look forward to meeting any Christians in Slovakia that might want to contact me directly. I tell you, now, I will do all that I can to point back to Christ and His Power, for it is His Might that delivers us... not our own strength. Yielding to His Power - rather than attempting, vainly, to accomplish anything on our own - is the only true key to success!
I love you all over there in Slovakia, pray that Christ works in your hearts and minds, and pray that Christians over there can stand boldly for the truth of Christ amidst a world that really spends a lot of time listening to "the prince of the power of the air," rather than the still, small voice of the living God. Read your Bibles. Pray. "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." Colossians 3:16
Love each other. Be open to one another. Don't dwell in failure; focus on VICTORY in Christ. Satan wants to bring us down, to compromise, to doubt, to darkness, to despair - and, that will be the struggle of all Christians until Christ returns!!!! Expect that kind of spiritual battle; and, stand strong in the armour of God and in the strength of HIS might. Trust that, for His Children, all things really do work together for Good. Trust that He who has the power to absolve the world of sin has the power to do any miracle in you. Trust that He can do it, rather than suggest that He can do 90% - but, that 10% is just too hard for Him. Examine yourselves, fully, to see where you might be holding out disbelief... then, ask Christ - in His Light - to illuminate that stronghold of darkness and fill you, instead, with grace and hope. Trust Christ, and you will not be unhappy. Thanks.
Grace, peace, and mercy be with you all.
Michael
